New York State Cultural Data Project

The New York State Cultural Data Project is a powerful, online management tool designed to strengthen arts and cultural organizations. This unique system allows users to track their own financial and programmatic performance over time and to benchmark themselves against comparable organizations in specific disciplines, geographic regions and budget sizes. Through the New York State CDP Help Desk, organizations have immediate access to free on-call technical assistance and a team of non-profit financial consultants. The New York State CDP is available to large and small organizations, including those with 501(c)3 status, cultural programs within non-arts organizations, organizations using fiscal conduits, and even unincorporated collectives and festivals at no cost. Four private foundations came together to provide the funding for the launch and three years of operations for the New York State Cultural Data Project.

By participating in the New York State CDP, you will be part of a successful and growing project that will allow the arts community as a whole to better articulate and provide evidence for the sector's assets and needs, as well as its contributions to the state and the country.
